Libby Marie Scott

Welcome to our Family Libby! We are so excited to have her here and we can't wait until we get to bring her home. The labor went really well and it wasn't too hard. I had to have 3 epideral pokes because they couldn't get the right spot on my back and that was probably the worst part. On the bright side, Libby had a really small head so I didn't have to push she just kinda fell out. She was 5 lbs and 5 oz and was 19 inches long which is a great size for 35 weeks along. She was breathing on her own at birth, but later had to be put on oxygen for a day or so, but she is breathing on her own again now. She is doing really well, she has a little Jaundice but she is totally loving being under the blue lights. She is our little miracle baby and we are so blessed to have her around. I should be able to try to feed her in a day or so and I am really excited about that! As for my health it is doing fine and I will have my surgery ASAP so that all of my attacks will stop and I can start being the Mom that I enjoy being. Here are some pictures of our family and our many miracles! We will keep all of you posted on the progress that she makes in the next few weeks.

Day of Delivery

Okay so here is the picture of the day I delivered, I never know how to stand; but there you have it that was me pregnant. Apparently that is a required picture to show people, or so I have been told.

Our crazy sleeper

Every night Jon goes in to check on Shelby and make sure she is covered up and that she is not over crowded with books. Well the other night her books had over taken her bed so she decided they could have it and she would just sleep on her bench. This is how we found her dead asleep she didn't wake up for the pictures or when Jon moved her back to her bed; that is of course after we laughed about it for a while.

What a Rollercoaster!!!

Well I am still home for the rest of the day, but tonight I am going in to the hospital again and this time they are going to take the baby (Libby). I am really excited to get this chapter closed in our lives, but I am REALLY nervous too. She will be 35 weeks which is way better than 28 weeks when we thought she was going to have to come so I am grateful for that. I keep passing Galstones so the doctors have decided it is just too risky to keep her in there for me and for her. They are worried that one will get stuck which can cause everything that we have just finished, plus they don't think that Libby or myself would do as well this time. So we are going to have a new bundle of joy in our life by tomorrow and we feel so blessed to have this miracle happen in our lives. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support I know that there has been much help from above to have such miracles happen. We can't wait to have another little (very little) girl in our family and Shelby is stoked. Today she saw the ultrasound and pointed up to the screen and said Libby, she melts my heart everyday! I am hopeful that things will go well tonight and they say that Libby is already 5 1/2 pounds. (I think it is great that I have lost weight this pregnacy and the baby has continued to gain, count your many blessings; right?) so the doctors are saying about 2 weeks in the NICU, but she is a fighter so I wouldn't be surprised if it is sooner. I will post pics. a little later of how big I am!
